GENERAL INFORMATION
Dates and venue of the Championships
The Championship will
take place in the JEJU Island from 30 August to 7 September 2003. -Information about Jeju island : www.jejusi.go.kr and www.jeju.go.kr
Pool specifications
Indoor swimming pool,
length 50m ´ 21m, 8 lanes, average temperature 26 °C , electronic scoreboard,
starting platform at both ends of the swimming pool, about 2,000
spectator seat.
Participation
Eligible to
participate in this Championship are only the teams of the National Federations
who are affiliated with CMAS and have paid the annual affiliation fee. Each National team
should comply with the rules of the championship, the safety conditions set by
the organizers and the CMAS Rules and Regulations.
The number of
participants (competitors, officials, technicians, assistants) is not
restricted.
Each National Team
should enter not more than two competitors for each individual event and not
more than one team in each relay event.

Surface finswimming :
50m, 100m , 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m Relays :

Protest
According to the CMAS
rules, 100 USD deposit is compulsory to protest.
Cylinder filling
The organizer guarantees the
filling of cylinders for either DIN or YOKE type. The maximum charging pressure
is 200 Bars. All cylinders must have passed a hydraulic test less than 2 years
before the Championship.
The Booking & Entry Fee
Minimum 50% of total entry fee should be deposited no later than 30 May
2003 to guarantee the booking. The balance payment should be made at the
arrival.
Organizer can accept only cash, wire transfer(all the bank charges are
due for remitter) and bank checks. Credit cards are not acceptable.
The entry fee for each participant is 750 Euros. The organizer will
provide : - Accommodations in hotel, in
double bedrooms. - Three meals per day, beginning with dinner on the 30th
of August until breakfast on the 7th of September 2003 - Transportation in Jeju island
in between Jeju airport, hotel and swimming pool. - Participation at the opening
and closing gala dinners. - Extra charges for single room
is 30Euros per day.
Economic Accommodations Participants who want more economic accommodation may request economic
hotel. - Hotel : EUR50. per room(2 bed or Korean style room) - No restaurant in the hotel. Guest should use nearby out side restaurant
by themselves. - No local transportation will be provided.
Hotel to swimming pool by taxi will cost EUR4, one way. The
participants who want use economic accommodation or other hotels by themselves
have to pay 150 Euros per person for competition and opening and closing gala
dinners.
Extra day expenses
100 Euro per extra day, including 3 meals and hotel. Swimming pool charges : 50 Euro, per one lane per hour. Air filling : 3 Euro per cylinder
Varia
The National teams
should bring a cassette tape or CD with national anthem and 2 national flags
with an approximate size 2m ´ 1.2m. Electrical current in Korea is 220V, 60Hz.
VISA
If you need visas, please contact
the local Korean consulates in your country at least 40 days prior to entry in
Korea.
